Day 2: The Peak Tram, Sky Terrace, and Madame Tussauds

It was early in the morning when we headed to the second leg of our tour. Next stop on our list was to check out the SkyTerrace and Madame Tussauds. Both are located in The Peak Tower, on top of the mountain called Victoria Peak or locally known as The Peak, the highest point on Hong Kong Island.

We took the MTR and got off at the J2 exit of the Central Station. We walked across Chater Garden and followed the signs along Garden Road. The Peak Tram station was beside the St. John’s Building.

We just follow the Peak tram signboard and it lead us there! :)

The Peak Tram Experience

We did not expect a huge line in Peak Tram Lower Terminus extending St. John's Building. Kuya Toff bought a package tickets with Sky Terrace and Peak Tram ticket pass since part of our trip was to see Madame Tussauds.

Here comes the tram.. Yey! :)
The ride is is indeed quite steep and each tram can accommodate up to 120 people.

These were the building structures you can see on your window looks like leaning especially when going down, when in fact you are the one in inclined position. Simple tips for you guys.. Choose to sit on the right-hand seat, regardless whether going up or heading down, to enjoy the most spectacular and mesmerizing panoramic view.

The anvil-shaped The Peak Tower which has a large viewing platform called Sky Terrace, in addition to dining and retail outlets.

At the top of  The Peak Tower is a 360 degrees platform with fantastic panoramic view of Hong Kong City.

Madame Tussauds

One of the main destinations in Victoria Peak is Madame Tussauds which is located in the Level 2 of Peak Tower. Madame Tussauds is a wax musseum displaying lifelike wax of historical and royal figures, celebrities and sports stars.

So, we took this opportunity to spot our favorite superstars and pose lots of crazy pictures. Here are some of our cute photos: :)

Cheers,
