The 3rd day of our tour was spent in Ocean Park. Hong Kong's Ocean Park is a lot bigger than Hong Kong Disneyland. Aside
from seeing different aquatic animals, there are so many extreme rides
to choose from. If you're into rides, then I must say you'll
definitely enjoy it here.
The park has two main sections; the Waterfront and the Summit. The kiddie attractions like Grand Aquarium, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures (home of the Pandas), the Aqua City, the Old Hong Kong Games Zone, Amazing Asian Animals, and the Whiskers Harbour are all located in the Waterfront.

One more shot, Welcome to Hong Kong Ocean Park!
The Waterfront Station
The Ocean Park Waterfront is the "Lowlands" area and where the main entrance to the park is.
The Grand Aquarium
Upon entering Ocean Park, we went straight to the Grand
Aquarium. The Ocean Park Grand Aquarium was simply amazing... it was this massive four-story tank full of an exciting array of marine life.
After our fishy tour, we proceeded to Old Hong Kong where the cable car
station to the Summit is located. Each car can accommodate up to six individuals.
The queue to the cable cars was a bit long as it took us about 15
minutes to have our turn.
While the cable car trip may seem like a horror ride for some, I slightly enjoyed it (because I'm acrophobic right? Haha!) There
were some “swaying” moments during the cable car ride and I can't help my knees on becoming weak. Haha! But thanks to the spectacular panoramic views my fear was gone and I was mesmerize by the beauty of the park from above! :)
The Summit Station
On the other hand, the escape for those who haven’t completely left their childhood are found in the Summit such as the Hair Raiser, the Flash, the Rapids, Mine Train, and the Abyss. There is no room for acrophobic, like me! Haha! :) It
isn’t a good place to hang out for individuals with weak resolution like me again! Haha! :)
Upon reaching The Summit, we found ourselves near some of the best ride attractions of the park since the cable car drop-off point was near Thrill Mountain.

Hair Raiser
The Hair Raiser is a one-of-a-kind, not only the Hong Kong's fastest roller coaster with speeds reaching 88 km per hour. Built on the cliff edge, it is the first floorless, yes, your feet are literally dangling and hanging!
To kick things off with a bang, Percy and his siblings decided to ride one of the most intimidating roller coaster. Yay! ;p
The Rapids
After dizzy ride with the Hair Raiser Percy and his siblings have been to, we walked a few steps to the next attraction on Thrill Mountain, The Rapids.
You will get wet on this ride. If you’re not gonna
get wet with the strong rapids, you will eventually get hit by water
blasters randomly placed along the path of the ride, so better be careful or just keep yourself away from that falling water. Haha! No surprises for this ride
really, no nerve-wrenching twists or sudden falls. Just wet fun.
Sea Dreams
After we got rid of being wet, we headed to the Ocean Theatre,
located at the Marine World for the Sea Dreams musical show. The show featured the in-house cute dolphins and sea lions of Ocean Park
which included swimming, diving and jumping skills from the talented sea
creatures.
Polar Adventure
You can find all sorts of polar animals at the Polar Adventure. Do note that it can be freezing cold inside. :)
A Polar Bear Statue as you enter Polar Adventure.
The polar animals were such cuties, especially the group of penguins.
And a sea lion being fed! :)
We didn’t stay too long at the Polar Adventure because it was getting really, really cold inside. Picture taking before we went outside.
The Flash
Just outside the Polar Adventure is one the most thrilling rides Ocean Park can offer, The Flash. As usual the three bravest siblings went swinging for the fences and went inside the queue and tried this ride, that for me was like the world is turning upside down. Hehe! :)
There they are! So brave! :)
Still happy faces after this thrilling ride. Big clap for them! :)
Space Wheel
Wanna get dizzy after a ride? Try this ride! Hehe! Still I don't have the courage to take this ride. Haha!:)
Ocean Park Tower
Ride here if you wanted to see great view of the park in a larger scale. But unfortunately we weren't able to have this ride because it was closed that time. Sad! :(
It was almost sunset when we decided to leave the park. The queue for
cable car was more than a kilometer-stretched and was unorganized so we
decided to take the alternative, the Ocean Express. It’s good thing that
we took the cable car earlier.
Symbio
By 7:30pm, Symbio, Ocean Park’s homegrown laser lights, pyro and fountain show started. Do note that watching
near the lagoon may get you wet or expose you to some very high
temperatures due to the pyro.
While the laser lights were not the clearest, the story of the two
dragons combined with the loud pyrotechnics and synchronized fountain
sprouts made for an entertaining show.
Well, that was a long day. I may never experience those extreme rides but the end of the day, I really enjoyed our trip. We were tired but we're up for more. We were tired but we're up for more! Still on Day 3, The Avenue of the Stars! Thank you for reading! :)
