It was a pleasant surprise (kinda) 2
days ago, June 21, exactly seven days before our Big Day! :)
We knew the Stawer Party
(combination of Bridal Shower and Stag Party) was gonna happen, but we have no
idea when. Days before that, Kaye keep on telling us that they were preparing
Stawer Party for me and Percy, but she did not disclosed yet the venue.
That Saturday, we’ve been to
Divisoria to buy some stuff for our wedding. After a very tiring day, we went
home to get some rest. It was about 7pm when Kaye texted Percy and told us to
go to Shakeys Centris in Quezon Avenue. BUT we are not allowed to go there
without their go signal. Haha! Since that was my first time in Centris, we
decided to take a walk and see the place.
While we were sitting at one of the bench there,
we saw Justin and Miko (Percy’s College Barkada) a little far from us. At first
we thought that it was just a coincidence that they were also there, but after
a minute we realized that maybe they were one of our guests for the party.
Haha! Then, we saw them going inside Asya (Filipino-Asian Restaurant). Percy and
I were both laughing realizing that Shakeys was not actually our venue but Asya
instead. (Buking! Haha!) After a minute, we saw our friends Ivy and Kevin
coming from that same restaurant (Buking again! Lol) so our
instinct was right, definitely Asya was our venue. Hehe!
Kaye then called us and told us to
go Asya, they keep on telling us that the party will no longer be held because
they can’t find a venue for us. We were just laughing silently because we
already knew what was happening, but then they keep on explaining to us, when
suddenly a staff from Asya came to us and said, “Ma’am nakaready na po yung food,
papatayin na po ba yung mga ilaw?” Hahahaha!!! (Buking!!! Panira ng
moment si Ate! Haha!) We are all laughing because of that. Lol!
After what had happened, they led us inside Asya, but
upon entering the restaurant, we were both surprise when these happened:
And most of our fellow YP's were there!!! We were so blessed we have the most awesome friends/brothers and sisters in the world!! :)
The evening was filled with crazy fun. We
have a lot of food..
And lots of Games!!! :)
And of course, we Percy and I were not excuse. They prepared special game for us.. a so called "How much did you know about each other" game. Hihi! :)
They also made an improvised Photobooth. Very creative! :)
The party will not be over without the gifts of our loving friends. Hihihi! :)
