Two Months Down

It has been 61 beautiful days since the kickoff of our “happily ever after”, and every time I bump into people, I get the question “How’s married life?” My answer is always the same..
I’m happy, very happy and blessed! There have been major adjustments, yes, but they’re all worth it. My husband is worth it. Being married to Percy is just wonderful, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Happy 2nd month, ney! I looooove you! :)

Cheers,

Why Read the Bible?

One time, I saw this on the net. How true it is! Yes problems may come in our lives and we may feel like giving up, but as Christians we have hope. God has given us a manual for life; His word: the Bible.

God's word is powerful

"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."Hebrews 4:12

God's word is the 'living word'. God speaks to us through His word the Bible and helps us to live our lives. God's word penetrates to dividing soul and makes us realize who we are before God.

God's word is essential

In Ephesians we read about the armor of God and how our battle is, 'against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.' (verse 12). The word of God equips us against the devil.

"Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:17

The word of God gives life

Jesus answered... "Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4

The Bible gives us spiritual life and provides encouragement. So don't delay. Read it today.

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Psalm 119:5

Very Blessed,
